Adventuring with your dog is always fun, but it's especially fun knowing you've done your part to reduce your carbon footprint by repairing— instead of replacing —your adventure gear.

Replacing a broken Hurtta buckle is relatively quick DIY fix that you can do either at home or with the help of your local sewing shop or shoemaker. Simply measure the width of the webbing (in mm) that you need the buckle for and buy a buckle that fits.

We also have a tutorial guide available in the Care & Repair section at hurtta.com.

Bought this to fix my dog's harness strap after the original buckle snapped mid-hike, and the repair took about two minutes. The plastic feels sturdy enough to last through the muddy seasons ahead.

Was skeptical at first that a tiny spare buckle could save my whole setup, but it clicked right into place and held up through a muddy weekend hike. Knowing I patched things up instead of tossing the whole harness honestly makes the adventure feel better.

The original buckle snapped on a trail last month, and I was dreading buying a whole new harness. This replacement twist buckle clicked right into place, and it’s solid enough that I don’t worry about it failing again.
